Available Services
I focus on providing compassionate, personalised, and evidence-based care to women in every stage of life. This can include the management of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, advice regarding medication use prior to conception, during pregnancy and breastfeeding, anxiety related to childbirth, adjustment to parenting and perimenopausal mental health.

Pre-Conception
Preparing for conception is an important and exciting journey. Managing your mental health during pregnancy is crucial for both the mother and the developing baby. It can help reduce the risk of complications and promote a healthier pregnancy experience.

I will work with you to understand and optimise your mental health prior to conception. This includes assisting you to make an informed decision regarding medication use before and during pregnancy
Pregnancy
I have expertise in the assessment and treatment of a range of psychiatric conditions during pregnancy, the impact of pregnancy complications of mental health and perinatal loss.

Further, we will develop together a comprehensive mental health birth plan and I will collaborate with your broader care team including obstetricians and general practitioners.
Postnatal
The transition into motherhood can bring about various emotional challenges, and it is essential to continue to care for your mental well-being.

I will assist you to make informed decisions regarding medication use following delivery, including medication safety if you elect to breastfeed. We will also explore challenges that can arise, including changes in personal identity and adjustment to parenting
Women's Mental Health
I have expertise in the management of women's mental health and the impact of hormonal changes on mood and emotional well-being. This includes conditions like premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD).
Identification of PMDD is crucial for effective management. Together, we can work to optimise your emotional well-being, improve communication and understanding within relationships, and improve your quality of life.
Menopause
Managing mental health in the perimenopausal period is vital. It's important to recognize and address symptoms like anxiety or depression as they can affect daily life and relationships. I will work with you to support your mental health during this transformative phase.
